About Me

I am a New York based photographer. My background includes studies in Photography and African American Studies. My obsession with photography started when I smaller and took shape in 2004 shortly after taking an introductory Photojournalism course at Syracuse University. While at Syracuse University, I flexed my photographic eye by freelancing for local and campus newspapers and went on to continue on to the S.I. Newhouse Photography Master’s Program at Syracuse University.

My love for portraiture comes from being introduce to the legendary portrait photographer Arnold Newman. His work pushes me to capture “the perfect moment” in a graphic way with my photojournalistic work and I am inspired to continue to grow and build a successful career with photography. I have newspaper, corporate, event and wedding photography background and have been published in annual reports and newspapers, including The Syracuse Post-Standard, USA TODAY, EBONY, and The New York Post.
